TROPHY PIN UPDATE

just a quick update ! our manu has suggested making the trophy pin soft enamel, due to the process of 3D metal, the polishing can cause a lot of scratches if the enamel is flush with the plating and we decided the 3D effect is the most important when it comes to this pin so to avoid a lot of defects we opted to do soft enamel rather than sacrifice the 3D sculpt. as always you can still edit your choices if you are not happy with the changes, we will also have sample photos once they are complete and you can make your final decisions then .

hi everyone ! we heard your feedback and understand the disappointment with some of the design changes we had to make :( we were disappointed too! luckily with some hard work from jay 💪 we were able to compromise with / find other manus to get them closer to our original visions !
firstly, mourning dove will be able to get some of their cutouts back which gives them a little bit more breathing room ! we will still have to have recessed on the sides and bottom but we hope that this is a bit more appealing of a look .
potion of healing looks relativity the same, we had to fill in a few small gaps up by the cork and one small fill in the d20. we also thickened up the outer line to make the pin a little more sturdy : )
we worked with the manu to get back one of the cutouts in moonlit, so the top crescent moon will get it's crescent back in exchange for making the pin .5in bigger ! the crescent at the bottom will still be recessed but since the area is so small it's at least less detracting from the design.
as mentioned before you can change your selections at any time through your survey in your email or using this link ! so if you're unhappy with any of the designs and want to trade them out, or you like the new designs and would like to add them you can do so up until a week after we get the sample photos to you guys !
as a reminder these are still just mockups and designs are always tentative until we receive the real life product, we will continue to update you all along the way though thank you !

hey everyone ! we're currently in process of getting the samples ordered, after some back and forth with our manufacturer we have a few changes to some of the pins :
first, for moonlit, some of the smaller cutouts in the moons will be changed to recessed metal !
second, potion of healing cutouts will also be changed to recessed metal and will have a translucent epoxy added instead to keep the 3D effect. it's hard to illustrate this but once we have the samples it will be easier to see !
lastly, mourning dove will also be edited to have recessed metal as the cutouts are just too small for the size of the pin.
we apologize if anyone is unhappy with these changes but this is all part of the process we want to be as transparent with you all as possible ! if you want to change your pledge you can still do so, we will also give a week after sample photos are posted to make any final decisions so if you're unsure still you have plenty of time ! thanks everyone ! we are excited to get these samples into production and in our hands so we can share with you !

Hey everyone ! The backerkit approval process took longer than we expected so smoke tests were just sent out today ! If there are no issues with that all surveys will be sent tomorrow
